Martin Keown blasts Reid's reaction to elbow (Schweinsteiger receives a three match ban)

What a cunt this bloke really is, right up there with the most hateful ex-players that seemingly have a chip about West Ham United on their shoulders.
He stated that Reid playacted yesterday when Schweinsteiger blatantly assaulted him on the pitch with an elbow to the throat.
“The way Winston Reid goes down is almost a disgrace,” said the former England international on BBC Final Score. “I’d be embarrassed if I went down like that. Remember the wrestling that used to be on on Saturdays? It was like that.”
Bastian Schweinsteiger has been charged for an alleged act of violent conduct by the FA which was not seen by the match officials but caught on video.
The Manchester United midfielder was involved in an incident with West Ham United’s Winston Reid in the 40th minute of the game on Saturday 5th December 2015.
The matter was referred to a panel of three former elite referees who each reviewed the video footage independently of one another to determine whether they considered it a sending-off offence.
For an FA charge to follow the decision by the panel must be unanimous.
The player has until 12 noon on Thursday 10th December 2015 to reply to the charge.

Probably because he's always had a bit of stick from us. Decade ago I remember an away at Leicester on a hot summers day. The game was being played out in near silence, but when Martyn Keown is brought the entire away end to a man gave him the monkeys head song. Even the Leicester fans were laughing at him.
Re: Reid I don't think he made anything of it at all like some would. Got back up and defended rather than writhing about on the ground like some do.

Who cares what Keown thinks.
I hope the FA take a good look at the incidents and the stamping by Fellaini and apply retrospective action. Both were intentional.
Neither got a card and should be reviewed. It won't happen though as it's Man Utd.
